Ruby on Rails

·         BS/MS with 4-5 years of web application development in Ruby on Rails ·         Design and implement new features and optimize existing ones from controller-level to UI ·         Experience building large scale systems in a high availability production environment ·         Must have excellent hands-on experience building Ruby on Rails based web applications ·         Good understanding of Object Orient design principles, MVC architecture, and web-services RESTful APIs and design patterns. ·         Excellent knowledge of version control systems like GIT, SVN ·         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills ·         Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills ·         Experience with agile methodologies like SCRUM ·         Experience using databases like MongoDB ·         Exposure to cloud computing platforms like Amazon ·         Knowledge of message queues
