As a Senior Engineer at Plated, you'll provide focus and depth of technical expertise around technical architecture and technology platform while collaborating with product engineering teams to improve the technical solution at a strategic level.

You are:
- A pro engineer with 4 years or more in software development.
- Comfortable and experienced with API design and AWS.
- Familiar with micro-services, containers and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Ruby on Rails a plus.
- Someone who enjoys sharing your knowledge by mentoring and coaching others.
- Happiest on good team. You dig collaboration and healthy sharing of feedback.
You will:
- Own and be accountable for technical initiatives around core services and underlying technology platform.
- Ensure the current technology solution is scalable to handle our current and expected future growth rates by developing and owning a solutions plan.
- Develop a solid reputation and trust among peers as a go-to expert for one or more major pieces of technical implementation.
