Looking to hire a Ruby Programmer for Rhode Island


Ruby Programmer Opening!

Base: $70k to $80k

Location: Newport, RI.


Summary:  We are seeking a programmer that will help implement code, build web applications for a satellite infrastructure.


Key responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Software development

  • Create web app and services for Mobile Cast products

  • Implement code based on specifications and requirements

  • Construct web applications, web services and app services

  • Must work in Agile + Scrum development process environment

  • Be able to troubleshoot , diagnose and fix defects


Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science

  • Ability to work in Linux operating system

  • Well versed in Ruby, Rails, Sinatra, GIT, Hiroku/AWS, MYSql, PostgreSQL, UnitTest, JBuilder and Passenger

  • Demonstrate the ability to debugging Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced  hi tech environment
