Hello everyone, my name is Samantha. I am a computer science second year undergraduate student and now studying in University of Surrey in the UK. I just finished an academic module which related to ruby and did a project. I would like to learn more about RubyGem in this summer and contribute to the project "
Add autocomplete for rubygems.org search UI". I have some questions about this project. I really appreciate if anyone can help!

Hi Samantha,

For more information about being a student in Google Summer of Code, check out Google's Student Guide: https://google.github.io/gsocguides/student/

To apply for that specific project, I suggest using email or Slack to contact potential mentors for your chosen project. Don’t forget to use the Ruby GSoC project application form when you submit your proposal at summerofcode.withgoogle.comhttps://github.com/rubygsoc/rubygsoc/wiki/Student-Application.
