Has anyone had any success in "manually" triggering a TPMS to send its data using a 125kHz signal? A few articles indicate that this is how TPMS testers verify the sensors:

I don't have any 555 timers in my IC kit so will have to wait till those get delivered to see if that is sufficient in generating the correct signal.

Hi. I have used this to get transmissions from TPMS sensors. ~5€ $5.

I have not used it for TPMS but I have been using 125khz to trigger keyfobs to send unlock and start signals at there normal 315Mhz and (03Mhz freqs.

Hello,

Does anyone know if the Universal U508 tool can trigger TPMS sensor for Toyota?

Thanks and regards,
Peter Ly

Hi Tuatha,
Which device did you use to send 125KHz? Did you make it by yourself or did you buy it?

Thanks and regards,
Peter Ly

Usually a significant change in pressure will trigger a TPMS
transmission or wheel rotation.
