Hi everyone!

I am considering a Renkforce WH2315 wireless weather station/console, and I am wondering
(before buying it) what kind of communication does it do.

Maybe is there somebody on this list with this kind of device who could take a quick capture of some data to see into it?

Thank you,
Tylla

 a Renkforce WH2315 wireless weather station/console

Renkforce is a reseller brand by Conrad. You could do a visual comparison with e.g. Bresser or Fine Offset products to find the original (and other white-labels).
More people might have those.

Thanks for the prompt reply. :)

Visually is an exact copy of an
Ecowitt WH2320/WS69E combo (take a look: https://www.ebay.de/itm/266260502464), which is a FineOffset white-label device.

Although I am curious if the hardware, more importantly the communication/encoding is the same as well. That's why I was asking about someone who could make a capture to be able to compare.
Maybe there is someone who can help me with this.

Regards,
Tylla

So the WH2320 is the head unit /console and the sender is a WS69E :) The protocol should be (G)FSK PCM at 58 µs.
It will match the WH24-series protocol with a preamble/sync/type of: a aa aa aa aa aa 2d d4 69

Yes, the WH2320 is the head unit/receiver, and the WS69E is the sender.
Thank you for the details.

I currently have an EcoWitt device compatible with the WH2320/WS69E only without display, and I was thinking of using this Renkforce one as an extra display.
But without knowing that it is compatible, I'm not really keen on spending money. Maybe if I can find one for some bargain price, I will take a chance.

Now if only someone had a Renkforce device to test against these parameters... :)
