checkpoint and R versions

how does checkpoint deal with R versions? for instance when I upgrade to the next version of RRO 8.0.1 based on R v3.1.2 but checkpoint is referring to a date when R v3.1.1 was the most recent one (and ideally the one to be used when rerunning the script)

Checkpoint doesn't yet address the issue of R version numbers, but we plan to include an option in a future update to declare an R engine version for use with the script (and to fail with an error or warning if the check isn't satisfied).
