Under new management (almost)

Hi members of the RRCS-Tuesday Cycling Google group

I am trying (struggling :-( ) to take over the administration of the group from Andrew Saunders (who is now relinquishing this role). However, I need to know who wants to remain on the circulation list and who wants to be removed. So, I would be grateful if you could respond to this email to let me know whether you want to remain on it.

We are planning a ride next Tuesday starting from adjacent to the BP Garage on the A23 going south out of Redhill, starting at circa 6.30pm going along cycle route 21 to Horley and picking up the Horley contingent (Sue and Nigel, etc) at the Farmhouse Pub and then returning to Redhill via Meath Green Lane and ending up at the Garibaldi Pub for well-earned refreshments. It would help if we knew who is likely to be joining the group (please note that lights will be required as it is likely to be getting dark as the evening progresses).

While I (hope to be able) to administer the group, I will not be leading any rides due my general navigational incompetence (particularly in the dark!). So, I would be grateful for any sensible suggestions for nice rides, which are about the right length for a mixed ability group (ie fair weather), which for me means avoiding too many steep hills, adverse wind and rain, etc ;-).

Thank you for taking over the group. Keep me on the list.  I love both biking and beer. I need all the support I can get.

One admin point.  If you look at the bottom of ricks email there is a link that enables you to ‘remove’ yourself from the email chain.  This means that Rick doesn’t have to check his emails and faff about on the internet.

ALSO- if you reply, as I have done, it goes to ALL not just to Rick.

So…be careful what you write 😳
