How would you get home from Leigh Rick? I don’t see you wanting to cycle all the way back from there in the dark. If you don’t cycle, you could (politely) ask Gill to pick you up on her way to the pub.

“Irons Bottom” – sounds like some sort of clinical condition associated with too much cycling to me.
Obviously being the archetypal townie I will be joining you all in spirit – which means a VERY chilled glass of something, that is if I decide to leave this windowless, cool data centre that I just happen to have moved to this afternoon, 17C and dark just the way I like it… Yeah – weirdo.
