Reg. Getting Error while opening chrome using the keyword 'Open Chrome Browser ${URL}"

Hi ,

I am trying to open chrome through robot keyword "Open Chrome Browser    ${URL}"

But it is not working and showing the error

BrowserNotFoundError: Failed to start a browser:
- Chrome: Timeout value connect was <object object at 0x0000029E7D087D10>, but it must be an int, float or None.

Can anyone pls suggest to solve this problem

Note : It was working fine few days back

Hi,

This is because of the latest update in the chrome. The same happened to me also, i tried to downgrade the chrome version. Unfortunately I couldn't make it. Later I was using the Firefox and edge.

My Browser and Driver both are same version ...also i used 'Open Browser' keyword also but no luck

Pls suggest any workaround

The path of the chrome driver might be in the wrong place, could you please try with the exact path?
If it does not work please share both the Chrome driver version and the Chrome version and web driver version.

i am able to run testcases in batch file in admin mode but when running from VS code it is not working
