Favourites in RT Planner for MACOs

Hi Bill,
I've had a look through previous conversations and the RTP Help and cannot find any reference to the subject, so apologies if you have already answered this one.
I use RTP on my Mac and despite trying other apps, still find this one as the best one I've found.
Compliments aside, there are a number of destinations that I use time and time again when planning a route, my home is a good example. However, everytime I want to create a new route I have to type the address in to add it to a pin.
It would be really nice if there was an ability to save places as favourites as many other apps do. Google, Stegra, Guru etc.
Am I missing something or is this functionality already there?

Hi Chris,

Yes, a Favorites would be a nice feature. Here’s what you can do in the meantime:

1. Create a RTP file and add your favorite locations to the POI list (under the Route list).

2. Save the file and call it something like “Favorites.”

3. Next time you want to create a road trip, make a copy of the Favorites file and open it.

4. Drag the locations of interest from the POI list to the Route list.

Let me know if that’s an acceptable work around.
