There is actual concern in the medical community about the impact self-driving cars are going to have on the organ donation market.  We'll be even more valuable soon!

There’s a lot of questions about how motorcycles operating in a world of self driving cars and trucks. I don’t have much confidence in them being integrated in the long run. Who knows though? Ride them like you stole them!

We are all going to die somewhere from something, so I do not lay awake at night worrying about it happening at
a M.C. rally. Whenever my "Sell By" date does come up, I am quite certain the Coroner or Doctor at the scene
will reject any "Organs" in my body as totally worn out and useless.

Right as usual, Larry. I wasn’t trying to freak anyone out, I just thought it was interesting. If my liver decides to go bad on me I guess I’ll hang out in Sturgis and see if somebody wants to give me theirs. Of course if it’s coming from a biker, it’s possibly not the best secondhand source.

Also, it's Sturgis.  A lot of bad decisions made.  For starters, inadequate or no helmets combined with other questionable behavior.  Correlation does not equal causation, but this statistic seems very telling of a certain pollution of riders.

Manny, I know that you meant “population”, but I would argue that “pollution” might also be accurate.

It is worth noting that the 7 rallies cited are predominantly cruiser-style events rather than Beemer/Goldwing type rallies. The authors noted alcohol and helmet use played significant roles.

POP QUIZ. --  WHICH IS MOST DANGEROUS ?
(A). --  AN INTOXICATED HARLEY RIDER AT STURGIS,
(B). --  THE "MILLENIAL" DRIVING WHILE TEXTING HER (?) ENTIRE CONTACT LIST ENQUIRING WHAT GENDER THEY BELIEVE SHE (?) REALLY IS.
(C). --  BOTH
(D). --  NEITHER

The correct answer is "C"&"D" (IMO)
If a person is killed by either, your chance of checking out rises to 100%. If not, no matter how many close calls, you are statistically at zero. Motor on.
Myself, I would be more in danger at Sturgis taking in the sights and crashing and probably dominoeing 20 H.D.`s. (Click picture below)
Manny, I am the "Poster Boy" for bad decisions & questionable behaviour, (If you don`t believe me, just ask Kathy) but fate & good luck has kept
me going up to this minute, but that can change instantly. I hope fate & good luck is on the side of all you "Rat`s". But keep in mind, "It`s a Jungle out there"
