Thinking about attending this event; it would entail leaving Denver on FRI JUN 2 and returning after the races on SUN JUN 4.  I estimate it would be a 6+ hour drive each way, and we would have to make lodging arrangements for 2 nights. I would be driving, not riding.  EWB

Many years ago, Tom Sangl and I attended an AHRMA event at the Pueblo ractrack.  I have several notable memories from our day at the track.

We touched motorcycle history by meeting legends Gary Nixon and Jay Springsteen as well as getting to see a rare Britten motorcycle and standing by as it was fired up.





Who knows what will happen if you go with Wayne to this event?

Then,Wayne, your memory is much better than mine!  Let's see what Tom remembers.

We also sat by an RV and talked with a legendary racer, then rather elderly, who lived near Sedalia, as I recall.  Do you remember him?

Ed Kretz, Jr. lived in Sedalia until his death in 2013, but I am not sure if that is who you are thinking of.

I loved going out there to visit.  He had a great collection of bikes and memorabilia from his and his father's careers and even better stories to go with them.
