Sunday Ride

Good evening

After several delays,entirely due to climatic issues,our first RMRAT Sunday ride for 2025  is scheduled for Sunday April 13th.

We will meet at :
                 
 Launch Expresso

18455 W.Colfax Ave.#101
Golden Co.80401

Side stands up at 9.30 and route still to be determined ( open to ideas)

Will make this ride short but sweet to allow everyone to attend to chores at home.

Thankyou so much for those of you that attended the first Sunday ride of 2025 and a big thanks to Bullit Bob for plotting and leading the route.We rode the Foothills around Evergreen to be safe and just as well for several reasons!

My Tiger did make it back home ( in sixth gear only),pulled in around noon.Hoping the next ride will be non-eventful!

See you for the RMRAT meeting next month

E-Steve,

I just looked at my shop manual, the good news is that you don't need to removed the entire transmigration to replace the selector shaft and Engle Motors has it listed at $166. The bad news is, you need to removed the clutch.

I did do some research and yes,engine stays in frame,whew!!!

Need to at least purchase a mega powerful impact gun,a clutch grabber tool,gasket/o-ring and oh yea,a shifter shaft.

Dodged a bullit on that one big time!!!

Steve, you might want to check into the shift shaft spring whilst you’re digging around in there. Apparently it’s a known issue with the 800s. Best of luck!

Back in 2023 on my way home from Utah,l had two of those springs fail on me,the result was 7 false neutrals!!
