Any suggestions for how to remove a stripped bolt? I have a small bolt on my back fender bracket and completely trashed it. Tried using plyers and drilling it a bit, but made it worse. Any ideas?

Chris,

I recommend using an easy out. Below you will find the one I like the beast from NAPA.

Don't get the reverse-thread conical extractors; they are garbage ... what you want are these squared ones ... drill your whole, pound one of these in with a hammer, and they will come right out.

NAPA auto parts usually carries them, if you don't want to wait on Amazon.

Cheers,

JIm

I always recommend left handed drill bits to create the hole. It loosens when cutting in. I have had good luck with them helping remove the bolt or screw, avoiding the extractor tools.
