another approach to an ironbutt 1000

If a regular Ironbutt 1000 isn't adequately challenging, try adding the requirement that your feet never touch the ground. Uh, I think the re-fueling would scare me off.

Hi, Jim.  At this point it may only be you and me going, at least I don't think anyone else has committed?  In any case, because Liz will be gone the weekend of the 17th - 18th and I need to watch the dogs, I'm planning on a shorter (500 mile) ride that weekend.  The SS1000 would be on July 1st, Saturday, because Liz will be home and can watch the dogs.

I was planning on joining but have a concert at Red Rocks July 1. Probably not a good idea to try to do both.
