Made it home safe without incident. Spent most of the day passing cars but thankfully few fifth wheels and trucks. Al mostly kept up.

 

A few follow up items on topics from this weekend:

For people asking about my “Hogback Canyon Challenge” shirt … It’s a 350 mile ride hitting 9 of the canyons. Mostly Harley’s but a challenging and fun ride. This year's event is on Saturday July 30. I’ll be out of town for it this year. All the more reason to do it!

This is the dirt flat track “camp” run by Colin Edwards. Former MotoGP racer and Rossi teammate. 4 days of flat track and beer (not together). Ask me how easy it would be to convince me to go again:

Continuing the topic of improving skills… I believe “Buck's Sunday Funday” is still a thing. Parking lot low speed skills practice in the Lakewood (?) area. I’ve been wanting to go but haven’t. “They could have been guests!” “They were cones!”

Thanks for the company on the rides. Maybe I’ll see some of y’all before next year. Or maybe next year. Or maybe not.
