Well, Steve, thanks for thinking of me.

We certainly don't see many Speed Triples of this vintage for sale.  Looks like it's in great shape, and the price seems to reflect its iconic status.

Unfortunately, I have no room for "just one more bike."  And  I'm unwilling to part with the ones I have to make room for another one.

It would be a great bike, however, for one of our members who is a Broncos fan.

It also would be a great bike for an ex-Speed Triple Hooligan like "Bullet Bob" Linden.

Cheers,
Dan

Dan

Remember,if my memory is functioning properly, that for 1995,came with a 5 speed gearbox and 1996,a six speed!

Too bad you are out of space, otherwise you would own the "complete" set!!

You have space.it is sometimes called a living room. Use up that area and call the bike "art" if anyone squawks.

Get creative!

We already agreed that the bike your collection most urgently needs is the rare 650cc inline 4 Daytona. Let’s stop this Speed Triple nonsense.

For those of you who don't know me well, I still have my first "modern" Triumph, a blue 2001 Speed Triple.  Then I added a 2007 Roulette Green 1050 Speed Triple.

To understand Curtis's comments, you have to place it in context.  I have the following:
  • 2003 955 Daytona
  • 1996 900 Super III Daytona
  • 1999 Daytona 1200 Special Edition #48
Finally, Jim, you have not yet met my wife, Madie, who is a retired lawyer.

Whenever I suggest that she park her car on the street so I can put more bikes in our garage (I have seven in my half of our two-car garage), her reply is:

"Don't push your luck, buddy."

Dan,

52% of the world is female, you can find another. When will you get another bike like this?

Says the same guy fighting to get a second bike....
