S. Turkey Creek Rd, too ... man, there's not many places you can GO 108 on that road, and certainly not for very long.

... it wasn't me, either.

You'd think the media could at least tell us what brand bike he was riding.  He may have to mortgage it to pay this performance award.

At 50 he's too young to be a Boomer but he's is Gen X if I'm not mistaken.  Not bad.  Definitely need to find out what he was riding.  Not much room on S. Turkey Creek.

Whatever he was riding, it’s probably for sale now :)

Fellow Rats,
Several years ago on a 5 pass ride, between Wolcott & Toponas, a certain “Rat” on a Triumph Sprint ST had a readout
Of 151.7 MPH on his max speed tattle tale. And, he was second behind another “Rat” on a Speed triple. Don’t know what the leader topped out at,
But 151.7 was 87 over. I was 3rd in line,  on a Yamaha FJR,  I am guessing I was probably at 68 MPH, (LOL) Just over the limit.  The moral to this story is…….
Sometimes, we are just one Policeman away from being in big trouble !

I've had my T-120 well north of the ton but not on a road like Turkey Creek.

Did it say whether it was North or South Turkey Creek?

According to the citation, the stop on May 31st at 11 a.m. was at Jennings Road and South Turkey Creek Road, which is not too far from the intersection of South Turkey Creek Road and South Deer Creek Canyon.  The road is fairly straight where the motorcyclist was stopped.  All the personal information is blacked out on the citation that the JeffCo Sheriff's Office put up on its Twitter account.  But you can meet this guy when he makes his court appearance at 1:15 p.m., August 3rd, at the JeffCo County Courthouse.  The citation is for 12 points, so he may be walking and/or bicycling in the future.  All of the personal information was blacked out on the citation, so no mention of the bike.

Guilty!  For those of you who do not know, I was a police reporter for The Colorado Springs SUN in 1972-73, riding my 1971 650cc Triumph TR6 Tiger, which I still have.

Keith is apparently suffering amnesia.  Back in the day, he was one of our group’s Fast Riders along with Bullet Bob Linden and Trip Miller.  He rode a beautiful yellow Triumph T595 and rarely went as slow as 108 mph.
