Much better now Jim.This is my first long ride since Sturgis '21.Had reservations about riding solo,but all things turned out well.

Will be in Gunninson on Saturday the 29th,see you then!

I ride a 2015 Tiger 800 XRX. I’ve experienced no mechanical issues. Still only 23K miles on it but all pretty flawless. Just back from a ride to the northern CA coast and back and the bike never complained. Only wish it was a bit more stable in crosswinds.

Uh-oh, what happened SFR?  Hope you're not stuck in bumfukutahh!   
My 2017 T800XRX is sold now, but never had a gearbox issue. 
What's going on?

On Stove Prairie Road,2.5 miles out side Masonville,l could not shift into any gears.Gear position indicator on the dash functioned like it should,but no drive to the rear wheel!My theory is an issue with the ride by wire throttle or a small spring with the shifter.Just hoping that the motor does not need to be dropped and the cases split!

Apart from the above,trip was fun,saw my brother,my friends got me home and made a new one in Masonville!

Remember Sturgis 21, my Bonnie T120 could not downshift, stuck in 5th gear to get home.  That was a problem with T120 tranny, nut sure how it relates to Tigers.  The issue was the shift trigger on the gear shaft was not made of hardened steel and wore enough it no longer engaged the ear mechanism.  The Triumph replacement part is hardened steel so should not happen again.  The pisser was Erico could not guarantee Triumph would stand by a warranty claim and they wanted to charge more to tear it down and diagnose the problem than TFOG charges to do the whole repair.  I knew what the problem was from the Triumph forum.  Shame on Triumph for not doing a recall when they knew the F....'d up with a poorly speced shaft steel.

That's crazy on the warranty issue.  If it is their part and not a result of user error or misuse/abuse that should have been covered.  Particularly when the issue is already a known one.
