Hi, Rats.  Planning for 2022 Triumph in the Rockies continues.  I have a few questions that I need to get some member input on for planning purposes.

First off, how many are planning on entering a bike in the show-and-shine, and what bike are you entering?  Right now we only have 14 people signed up, including me, and I'm not planning on entering a bike, so I need to know how many bikes we are potentially looking at, and in what categories.

Second, our caterer, Camp Robber, has asked if we would be willing to go to their location for the catered meal on 07/16.  Apparently they are having staffing issues that make it difficult to get people out to our location at the Red Arrow.  They are able to put us up in a private room and will have a cash bar, but the location is at 1515 Ogden Rd, which is about 3.5 miles from the Red Arrow (it's off of US 550 in the southern part of town, near the City Market (The City Market on the edge of town, not the one in the middle of town.)  I just need to get input from folks on whether that would be something they'd be OK with.

Final note, as I said above, I currently have 14 registered including me.  Please note that I need to have registrations in by this Saturday, 6/25.  Anyone who is planning on attending the RAT meeting at Foothills can bring me a check at the meeting if you'd like.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Martin

Since I have a new bike, of course I am going to enter mine. Classic category. 😁

I am okay with going to Camp Robber. If we plan to be there after dark, I would probably get a Lyft instead of biking.

I think going there would be just fine.

I don’t really plan on putting my bike in the show amd shine though.

I will enter my bike in the show-and-shine (1998 Thunderbird Sport).  That's assuming I am not disqualified as I believe I won my class 2 or 3 years ago with that bike.  If I'm not allowed that's perfectly fine as well.  Doesn't sound like we have a lot of choice on the dinner.  I'm sure we would all like to sit outside at the Red Arrow in T-shirts and shorts but I'm ok with going to the Camp Robber.

If we're not being catered ... is there a better restaurant option?  I wouldn't mind just hitting a good restaurant and paying my own way; might be simpler for Martin as well.

I they have at least one vegetarian / vegan option, I would be okay with that too.

Would the Camp Robber offer a "To Go" option?  Meaning, they package the food and we pick it up and bring it back to the Red Arrow?  We could return any containers that are not throw away.

Martin,

I am ok with going to their location, but can we bring our own beer, rather than a cash bar?
I will not enter my bike in the show and shine.

Hi, Norm.  That's a great suggestion.  I will have a car there so I would be able to pick up and return.

Jim:  We already have a contract with Camp Robber but that will be something I'll keep in mind for future events.

I don't usually go in for the show'n'shine, this year should be no different.

I'm pretty easy going however we manage to get fed.
