All,

It saddens me to send this email. Paula let us know this afternoon that her husband Brian suffered a stroke on Sunday. He has been in St. Mary Hospital in Grand Junction, CO and is being moved today to Broomfield Hospital Rehabilitation facility.  They were out traveling with their truck and trailer camping when this happened.  Paula has help getting all their gear and vehicles home today.  Brian is stable and Paula will keep us informed on his progress and when he may want visitors.  She would really appreciate your well wishes to go to her and she'll pass to Brian.

Capt. Bob,
Thanks for sharing this with all of us.
Bad news sucks, but I think we'll all have good thoughts and memories in mind of Brian, as he recovers, and hopefully, improves.

Personally, I can't wait to hear some wise-ass remark from Huc thrown in my direction. (Just trying to lighten the mood, as tears bubble up.)

Take care,
-Warf

The heavy hand of “Time” catches up to all of us. Our misspent youth did not help our cause.
Get back to normal, soonest.

Hey all, and to Paula and Huc, especially.
Sean and I are incredibly sad to hear that Huc had a stroke - I hope it was caught early, and he is already showing signs of improvement.
Please keep all of us posted!
Sara

Thanks Capt for the sad news.  I remind everyone Doc suffered this about 18 mos ago and is improving but still unable to ride due to strength and vision issues.  Keep both patients in your prayers.

I don’t know what else I could add to the rest of the group has already said. I know that you’re both very strong people, and that will serve you well as you walk the road to recovery together.

I believe that you can and will overcome this challenge, and I wish you all the best.

Steve
