My Tiger has a pinhole in one of the radiator hosts. I did some searching and found SAMCO silicone hoses. Bob Wendl had mentioned an aftermarket hose that fixes a known issue with a t-connector on one of the hoses. It turns out, it was a hose from SAMCO UK.

They appear to be high quality hoses with very good ratings. The downside is the $400 plus price tag for a set for my Tiger. That does not include the $60 plus for the SAMCO hose clamps.

I guess I will stay with the $30 Triumph part for now.

Cheers

Are they making those hoses from the raw material Ducati uses, unobtainium?

All,

I replace my hoses in 2021 with 78,827 miles on the clock. I purchase my hose set from AS3 Performance and below you will find the link for the set I order and they were only $158.61 for the complete kit. They are currently our of stock and only Tiger from 2011 - 2015.

Word to the wise, when you replace the T hose replace part T3600124 which is a O-Ring (21.5 x 3.0) for the water inlet pipe. The O-Ring is item 19.

Capt Bob, thanks for the updated information. $80 is better than $400 any day, except they are out of stock on the 2011-2015 model year and don't show anything for new models.

Back to the stock Triumph hose for me.
