Hello Everyone!

We’re scheduling a dryer vent cleaning and if anyone else is interested, we can get a group discount. Normally, this service costs $350, but if more people sign up, the price drops to $150 per home! Not cleaning your dryer vent increases the risk of fire in your home because lint and dust build up inside the vents, which can become a serious fire hazard.
We’ve used this service before, and they do an excellent job. (he does duct and chimney cleaning if you need that as well)

If you’re interested, please PM me your contact info and address, and I’ll arrange a convenient time. Or feel free to text Gabriel at 240-202-8145

Riskateers --

This looks like a big nothing. Dryer vent cleaning? That's a ten-minute job for me at home...working slowly.

I haven't seen much pure SPAMming on RiskList. Does Google filter out most other SPAM events?

I went (with the Empress of the Seven Universes) to our fifth participation in six years in the Pliny the Younger release at Russian River Brewing in Windsor, California.

At 10.25% ABV it is a fine elixir for attitude adjustment. We stayed in Napa in the former Embassy Suites. I had been to the Embassy Suites many times for Ruble Seminars or the more pedestrian updates offered for either CIC or CRM. Over the years, the Embassy Suites had fallen into an unacceptable condition due to poor maintenance of facilities. We (the Empress and I) agreed never to return. While planning our Pliny trip this year, we checked out the new  Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley, Curio Collection by Hilton. The Empress suggested to me that we could give it a try. I looked at the address and told her, "That looks like the old Embassy Suites."

We did our due diligence. We read reviews, looked carefully at pictures of rooms, and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a very nice visit, and the renovation done was comprehensive and inspired. They did a great job. I'd recommend the Casa Mani for anyone who is going to Napa. We also like the Archer and the Andaz and the Westin near the center of Napa, but the "quality for price ratio" for our stay made the Casa Mani a good buy.

My full supply of Pliny the Younger (and some Pliny the Elder) got back home with no broken bottled. Delta Airlines put "FRAGILE" stickers on my suitcase well-packed with bottles of beer. (That is the "risk management" component of this message.) I had one at home with the Empress seen partially through the glass:

I hope all the Riskateers are doing well, wherever you might be.

Nice score, Scott!!!  Big fan of both Plinies!  Too bad we can’t get it on the east coast!  When I go to Napa (or Sacramento), there’s a brew-pub called Mojo’s in old downtown Sacramento.  They always have a Pliny on tap!!

I haven’t seen that email come through.

Jay and Dave --

Very strange that you didn't get the dryer vent cleaning SPAM message. It is sitting there in the Google Groups area for RiskList. I went there to check after it arrived at my regular Gmail inbox.

Not every mystery needs to be solved.
