Thats a good list Panesar.

To add to it - get small bags (plastic ??) to put all your "sandy" clothes in so that they do not spoil the rest of your clothes (especially formals if you are bringing them for the Silver Jubilee).

Pack you bags in such a way that the clothes that you are wearing at Rishikesh are right ontop. It will minimise the time the bag will remain open and sand from entering it.

Thin towels / preferably liquid soap to bathe are also recommended.

Verma as far as I know a Sim card requires local address and id proof so is not easy to get for folks from outside. If you really want one, one of our bandhu in India could get you one.

Ok guys I,am at Dehradun already...the weather is fabulous,light woolens are required in mornings and evenings..flowers,lovely nip in the air and an urge to have a nice beer or gin and tonic in afternoon...definitely rum or whiskey in the evening...see you tomorrow.
