Hello to all my Ring colleagues.

I had "put off" integrating the English language into chapters 2
(features) and 3 (native functionalities and extensions)—it’s now done.

On the other hand, as you can confirm by watching the audiovisuals, I’ve
been following Ring’s official documentation to build the videos.
However, this task is very time-consuming, almost a full-time job, since
my lack of experience is compounded by my effort to make the work as
clear and simple as possible. As a result, time passes, and new updates
to the language and its ecosystem emerge.

So, to avoid having to "hire a private detective to regularly review the
documentation" 😊, how can we quickly stay informed about new
developments—whether they involve removing, modifying, or adding
functionalities to Ring?

Of course, this isn’t something I need right now.

Naturally, I’m asking so I can devise some kind of notification system
to keep the course updated.

Best regards,
Antonio F.S.

P.D.:
I think I might have suggested something similar myself some time ago,
but I can’t remember how it was settled at the time. Digging through all
the old emails seems like too much effort (age must be catching up with
me 😊).

Hello Antonio

>> " how can we quickly stay informed about new developments—whether they involve removing, modifying, or adding functionalities to Ring?"

(1) Checking (what is new in Ring 1.x) chapters
Each new release comes with a dedicated chapter that lists all of the new things.

Examples:
what is new in Ring 1.23?

what is new in Ring 1.22?

what is new in Ring 1.21?

Also, we have a menu for these chapters in Ring website:

(2) Checking the RingPM registry - Contains list of known Ring packages

Hello Mahmoud,

So, should I understand that the documentation is not updated with Ring's changes, and that I need to refer to what you provided in your answer to find out?

Best regards,
Antonio F.S.
