I've also been experimenting with different background images.

I used stable diffusion to create a texture, then I modified it in Kira.

I think it's pretty good. I never liked the default images, even though the back2 one could grow on you.

What do you think of the new texture? THx.

Not sure why you would use a solid color for the background image, but I tried that, lol.

It looks pretty good. I was trying to make a modern black style with images.

I kinda like how uniform it is. On the other styles, modern black and modern black 2, there were different colors for the different windows. I think I like it with one default color.

Anyone else customize their styles?

Sometimes I use Ring Notepad in a style similar to Windows Notepad

Thanks. While I like the texture, I think I prefer the second background image, where everything is a uniform color. I just took a 1900 by 1200 canvas and filled it with a color, lol. Then I used that as back image in the image folder.

Hello Anthony at All,

I prefer back2 style. It's very nice and readable.
Have a nice day, good work, and a pleasant rest.

Hello Anthony et ALL

I would prefer that the "Comments" be more visible.
They are next to impossible to read in the "Black" mode
I use lots of comments, and I am always squinting to try to see them as I write.

I use NotePad++ with the "White" background to write my code
It's easier to read. Has mor formatting controls etc.

I like the comments with a dark, low opacity, I think. They aren't so invasive that way.

However, I was experimenting with colors, and the best other color might be a dull yellow.

I used the color:  :SyntaxCommentsColor        = new qcolor() { setrgb(255,255,140,255)}

Thx. Yeah. I have been using Visual Studio Code for the Ring Notepad modification, but I don't know how to run it from Visual Code Studio, lol.

Bert, your comment color problem made me rethink the whole color scheme, lol. I didn't like how the literal gold matched the comment yellow, so I reworked it.

What do you think? I changed it quite a bit. Any better for you?
