Riak enterprise code

Hi All,

Anyone know what's happening with the basho enterprise code? Specifically the code for replication.

I have a question that I'd have been asking Basho directly, but could also answer myself if I had the replication source code.

Hi Sean,

 

The Enterprise Edition source code is still Basho’s asset and so can’t be handed out. Someone is buying it right now, who we hope is making it open source.

 

If that fails, there are several replication replacements in progress.

 

Your question may be answered in the docs (copy at https://www.tiot.jp/riak-docs/).

 

If you just need support for the Enterprise version, we offer that on a commercial basis either as a one-off or as a full support service.

On the replication source code thats more or less the answer I expected / feared.
