Announcing the Review Board 5 Beta

We've just released Review Board 5.0 Beta 1. This is a pretty major release, bringing new features such as:

• Single Sign-On via SAML
• Trojan Source attack detection
• Elasticsearch 1.x-7.x compatibility
• Performance improvements
• New diff enhancements
• Bug fixes and some substantial behind-the-scenes changes

This release is built on Django 3.2 LTS and requires Python 3.7 or higher. If you're an extension author, you'll need to update your extensions for these releases.

We're aiming for a quick beta cycle, and are hoping for broad testing. If you're planning to upgrade to 5.0, please give this a try in a testing environment and let us know if you encounter any problems.
