Role: Machine Learning/ Data Engineer

Location: Richmond VA

Client: Capital One

Duration: Long term

Any Visa is accepted/ We accept H1B transfers and all EAD’s

Minimum Experience: 7+ Years

Job Description: Responsibilities of the Role Include:

1. Technical design and development of multiple components contributing towards shared enterprise applications and software.
2. Writing high quality code and unit tests as development is done.
3. Create effective automated tests to prove successful integration.
4. Create and maintain big data solutions.
5. Perform complex engineering activities for performance tuning, monitoring, deployment and production support.
6. Implement, maintain, and update CI/CD pipelines

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. At least 5 years of software development experience
3. At least 5 years of big data experience : Spark, Pyspark
4. At least 3 years of experience in full stack programming : Python, Flask
5. At least 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud technologies: AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, Security Groups, RDS, DynamoDB, ALB, Route 53, EMR, ECS)
6. At least 3 years of experience in Build and CI/CD technologies: GitHub, Maven, Jenkins

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance technologies: ATDD, Behave, Cucumber, SoapUI, Postman
2. 3+ years of experience in Unix Shell Scripting
3. Certified in AWS technologies
