Role: Java Back End Developer

Location: Richmond VA

Client: Capital One

Duration: 24 Months

Any Visa is Accepted

Minimum Experience: 8+ Years required

Description:

Play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and value.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Full stack developer Spring boot, NodeJS, Java scripting, Microservices

· Cloud native application development

· Experience working and deploying in AWS

· DB SQL (Oracle, PostGres or equivalent), No SQL (Mongo or equivalent)

· Mobile application development (secondary, not a mandatory skill)

· Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle and Agile Development methodologies

· Experience with Node JS, Spring Boot, Rest Web services, Dockers.

· Experience developing cloud native applications, preferably AWS.

· Experience in application design using design principles, patterns and best practices

· Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams

· Experience managing team size of 6-10 would be a plus
