Role: Java Technical Lead Onsite Coordinator

Location: Burbank, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

  

Job Description:

Client is looking for a detail-oriented Java Technical Lead Onsite Coordinator. Candidate should provide solutions to technical issues and is responsible for meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and know how to collaborate effectively and closely work with customer and with offshore team of developers and testers with flexibility in working.

 Responsibilities:

·         Speak with customers/ BAs to gather & understand requirements, estimate, design, implement & review code which should meet functional & non-functional requirements

·         Closely work with customer and with offshore team of developers and testers to plan and deliver solutions

·         Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements

·         Understands, tracks and articulates issues / risks / action items, work with responsible owners to address the items on a timely basis, update the appropriate stakeholders as needed

·         Performing RTB activities such as debugging of production problems encountered, and performing data fixes and troubleshooting issues for business users

·         Representing in business requirement calls with external systems connecting to the application, and cascading to offshore team.

·         Present status reports to client management team on a weekly basis.

·         Generate reports requested by business User from application database. 

·         Ensure timely delivery and quality

·         Assign, track and review tasks

·         On-call support as required

·         Flexible in working with offshore team.

 

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.

·         2+ Years of experience in relevant role.

·         Hands on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, REST Services, Spring Batch, Ext-JS, Oracle 12c

·         Strong quantitative abilities, distinctive problem-solving and excellent analysis skills. 

·         Ability to code, design, unit-test, code-review and create technical specifications/ documentation

·         Experience in working with different project execution methodologies like agile, waterfall

·         Excellent knowledge of object-oriented technologies, multi-tier applications and Service Oriented Architecture

·         Exposure to change management and release management process

·         Strong communication & presentation skills
