We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to implement and maintain resources within the client's Azure Cloud Environment. This position involves working closely with management, other engineers, and architects to provide input on best practices and provision resources within Azure. This position will require deep knowledge and experience working with Azure, as well as well-rounded knowledge on some of its common service offerings client uses/plans to use (App Services, Function Apps, Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Kuburnetes Service, etc.).
SKILLS:
- 10+ years of experience cloud engineer-Good exp in Microsoft Windows environments (2012 R2 and up)
- Strong technical exp of current server infrastructure, protocols, and standards, including firewalls, certificates, load balancers, and server
-Deep knowledge and experience working within Microsoft Azure (or similar cloud provider) as a lead/senior administrator/engineer
-Strong technical knowledge of networking, servers, databases, and cloud environments, including Windows, Linux, SQL Server, and Oracle.
-Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code – Terraform, etc.) & Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
-Experience working regularly with scripting languages (Powershell/Python)-Demonstrated experience with any continuous integration tools (such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps/TFS, etc.)-Experience with Office 365 & Power Apps platforms
-Experience with Azure Data Lake
