Job Description :

 

·         Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.

·         At least 12 years of experience in developing/architecting applications with significant exposure to.NET Framework / Microsoft technologies. Cloud migration exposure will be an additional consideration.

•      At least 3 years of experience in defining technology solutions for Retail or Logistics domain to solve business/ IT problem

•      Experience in ASP.NET, WinForms, Windows Services, WCF, WF, ADO.NET, MVVM, MVC is essential

•      Experience in Service Oriented Architecture, Micro Services and APIs, including high volume data stream processing and enabling high speed data to reads/write-through using distributed caching frameworks / IMDBs

•      Experience in a full-stack development environment spanning technologies across UI, Business Logic, Data layer, DB design.

•      Experience in developing single page web application using JavaScript based (Angular.js, React.js) based Frameworks

·         Strong Tech Lead with leadership/management skills demonstrated.

·         Engineering manager should own the reporting relationship with the engineers on the team.

·         Owns the engineering sourcing/profiling and interviewing for their team.

·         Is accountable for the offshore tech lead on each team to be effective. If the tech lead is ineffective, the engineering manager will not be very effective

·         Responsible for measuring and evaluating their team’s code quality. This person would be working to own and evolve what it means to be delivering high-quality.

·         Owns engineering process and ensures the team follows it. This includes making sure the team has vetted their design with other tech leads and solution architecture.

·         Is perceived and viewed as a go-to technical source, separate from but in addition to the tech leads on each team

·         Musts be able to code hands-on and, in many cases, will be coding hands-on as well as leading code reviews and architectural/design reviews. If more than 2 or 3 teams, the engineering manager may be coding less but would still be a code reviewer and architectural reviewer.

·         Architecture, design and implementation business functionality / applications on one or more cloud infrastructure and platform solutions that leverage the very latest in cloud technologies such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, Oracle, PCF – Additional consideration

·         Experience in AgileDevelopment

·         Unit Testing: Xunit (unit testing framework), Moq (Mocking framework)

·         Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and any NOSQL Databaseis essential

·         Experience in providing advanced technology advisory services

·         Understanding of market and technology trends

• Experience in Logistics domain
• Strong Analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
