1)Role - Data Modeler 

Client - Sumitomo 

Location - NYC, NY

Duration: Longterm

Any Visa is Accepted (OPT, CPT, H1B, H1B Transfer, H4-EAB, GC-EAD, E3 ,L1,L2-EAD,USC and GC) accepted.  

 

The objectives of this position include, but are not limited to:

Ø  Minim 8+ years of IT Experience.

Ø  Elicit business requirements for information (data) modeling focusing on data objects

Ø  Visually depict information requirements for projects/subject areas where data are well-defined and relationships are reflected

Ø  Create As-Is and To-Be information models reflecting business-related data elements

Ø  Model Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Information Models / Data Models in Rational Software Architect (RSA) tool

Ø  Generate Data Dictionary in a spreadsheet from the information model

Ø  Required:

Ø  One to five years of experience with data modeling

Ø  Previous experience modeling conceptual and logical information data models using UML

Ø  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Visio

Ø  Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

 

2)Role - Cognos Developer (Remote until COVID-19 settles down)
Client - Sumitomo 
Term - Long Term
Location - NYC, NY

Any Visa is Accepted (OPT, CPT, H1B, H1B Transfer, H4-EAB, GC-EAD, E3 ,L1,L2-EAD,USC and GC) accepted.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Ø  Minim 9+ years of IT Experience.

Ø  Experience in implementing large data warehouse/ data mart solutions using IBM Cognos that includes the following:

Ø  Experience of design, development, and implementation experience of complex reporting solutions using Cognos Suite 10.2 or later.

Ø  Specific knowledge and experience regarding Business Report & Analytics development of DMR models in Cognos Framework Manager and dimensional reports in Cognos Report Studio.

Ø  PL/SQL and query optimization

Ø  PL/SQL script and stored procedure development and use

Ø  Cognos administration and security tasks

Ø  Strong experience in DB2 Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) including:

Ø  Strong technical skills including understanding of software development life cycle – Design, Development, Unit testing and integration testing phases.

Ø  Aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem solving.

Ø  Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
