1) Role: Data Engineer / Big Data Lead
Location: San Francisco CA and Richmond VA
Client: Capital One
Duration: 2+ Years
Minumum Experience: 10 Years
Any Visa is accepted (OPT, CPT, H1B, H1B Transfer, H4-EAD, GC-EAD, E3 ,L1,L2-EAD,USC and GC) accepted
Skills:
Big Data – Hadoop, Spark, Kafka (all are not required, but mix of these skills)
Database – PostgreSQL, SQL – very strong exp
Python
AWS.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree
· At least 8 years of software development experience
· At least 5 years of experience managing software development projects through complete release cycles and working with cross-functional business and technology teams
· At least 5 years experience with Distributed Computing and Linux
· At least 5 years experience with Programming (Python or Java)
· At least 3 years experience in people management
· At least 3 years experience with Cloud Computing (AWS)
· At least 3 years experience with Databases (SQL, RDBMS)
· At least 2 years experience with Container environment (ECS)
2)Role: Senior Data Engineer / Big Data/ Hadoop Developer/ Spark Developer
Location: San Francisco CA and Richmond VA
Client: Capital One
Duration: 2+ Years
Minimum Experience: 10 Years
Any Visa is accepted (OPT, CPT, H1B, H1B Transfer, H4-EAD, GC-EAD, E3 ,L1,L2-EAD,USC and GC) accepted
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree
· At least 3 years of experience with AWS
· At least 3 years of experience with Python programming
· At least 3 years experience with Linux
· At least 2 years experience with Container environment (ECS)
· At least 2 years of experience with developing ETL pipelines on EMR, Hadoop Platform
· At least 2 years of experience with one of the big data technologies Spark, Kafka, Flink
· At least 2 years experience with Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and SQL Programming
· At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD
· At least 2 years of experience with CI/CD
· Preferred Qualifications
· At least 4 years of experience with Python programming
· At least 4 years of experience in technology delivery in a Cloud Engineering environment.
· At least 2 years of experience with Linux, server automation and scripting.
· At least 1 year of experience working with Agile Development Practices.
· AWS Certified.
