Two minor RS 9.6 configuration adjustment questions...

So, when I log into RS, it looks like this at the top of the page:

I want to turn off the "Dash" top navigation link (it appears to function the same as clicking on the ResourceSpace logo, so I don't need it there), and I want to turn off the "Geographic search" option in the search box on the right (because nearly all of our photos are from various places here at our campus, we have all other geolocation-type stuff turned off...we don't use any of that).

But for the life of me, I can't find any settings in the config file or in the system setup that achieve the above...and I'm not finding any recent discussions about it here in the Google Group (or in general Google searching of the web).

All other navigation items and whatnot are enabled/disabled via a simple true/false toggle setting in the config.php file, so it's somewhat of a surprise that these two aren't included in that...

Am I overlooking a setting somewhere or something?

Update...I found the setting that disabled the "Geographic Search" option, so I'm 50% of the way there...still puzzled by the "Dash" top navigation link, though...

how did you manage to turn off all geolocation-type stuff? I can't find any settings for it.

Okay found it:

$disable_geocoding = true;

Glad you were able to find it...it's been several years since I did that, and our entire office was still work-from-home due to COVID. Seems like so long ago :P
