Skills and Qualifications

Software development background in Scala Engineering. o Experience building platforms and frameworks

Strong SQL skills

Data Engineering or Data Science experience within Spark o Real time integrations

Streaming data into Spark (Casca and Storm)

Any data warehouse experience (cloud or on-prem)

they use Snowflake on the data warehouse side

Azure or AWS is nice to have (they use Azure)

Hadoop is nice to have ? one of the big data technologies that WSI uses

Enthusiasm for constant improvement as a Data Engineer

Ability to review and critique proposed designs and offer thought
