Job Title:  Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer

Location:  Denver, CO or Memphis, TN (Denver preferred)

Duration:  6-12 Month + Extensions (Long Term Need)

 

Position Overview:

 

We are looking for a Quality Assurance and Test Engineer who will be responsible for overall testing of Salesforce based applications. This role should have basic understanding of API’s and ability to perform quality and performance testing of Integration modules in Salesforce.

 

Basic Requirements:

·         5+ years’ experience in testing cloud-based web applications, specifically Salesforce

·         Understand high level concepts and use cases for manual and automated testing

·         The ability to outline test scenarios & create test plans based on product and engineering specs

·         Robust understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, RESTful APIs

·         Develop detailed test plans. Create test cases in a traceable format

·         Design and execute functional and non-functional testing as needed

·         Provision test data and test users appropriately

·         Log, track, and close defects and other issue types

·         Perform out of the box testing of Salesforce mobile Applications

·         Document data and testing results

·         Responsible for API testing using postman

·         Experience with database testing using SQL queries

·         Good communication skills with engineering and business staff

·         Have a strong understanding of setting up and maintaining test systems including Selenium and Postman

·         Someone who appreciates and values visual and UX testing

·         Responsible to perform job duties with minimal supervision, and escalate problems and concerns to leadership

·         Work with the business users performing user acceptance testing to review their findings and translate to engineering for resolution

 

Preferred Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

·         Experience in creating scripts (such as bash) and applications to support complex testing efforts, while interacting with RESTful APIs

·         Someone with exposure to test case management tools, such as Jira.
