Role: Data Analyst with Healthcare

Location: Remote
Experience: 10+ Years

Visa: ONLY H1B 

Data Analyst with strong SQL skills, expertise in large-scale data analysis, and hands-on experience building impactful dashboards and insights for healthcare and population health analytics.

 

Responsibilities: -

• Analyze and interpret large-scale datasets using advanced SQL to support BI and analytics requirements.
• Build interactive dashboards and visual reports using QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business and client stakeholders.
• Validate, clean, and structure millions of records to ensure high data accuracy and reliability.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high‑quality BI solutions.
• Support multiple BI reporting initiatives simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
• Engage with customers to understand business needs and present analytical findings effectively.
• Develop data visualizations that follow strong storytelling and design principles.
• Leverage AWS tools like Redshift, Athena, and S3 to support analytics and dashboard development.
• Collaborate using agile tools such as Jira and Confluence to track progress and ensure timely delivery.

Mandatory skills

• SQL & Large-Scale Data Analysis
• Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development
• Healthcare / Population Health Analytics Must Have Skills
• 2–4 years of experience in a customer-facing business intelligence or analytics role, involving data analysis, visualization, and presentation
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large relational datasets
• Hands-on experience with BI/dashboarding tools such as AWS QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI
• Ability to analyze, validate, and visualize large-scale datasets (millions of records) with high accuracy
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality, production-ready dashboards
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with analytics, product, and client stakeholders
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a problem-solving mindset, especially in ambiguous problem spaces
• Ability to manage and deliver on multiple BI reporting initiatives simultaneously

 

Good-to-Have Skills

• SQL Experience analyzing healthcare data, particularly in population health, value-based care, or payer analytics
• Familiarity with AWS services, especially QuickSight, Redshift and Athena
• Advanced SQL capabilities (performance tuning, complex joins, window functions)
• Strong data visualization and visual design principles for storytelling with data
• Experience designing dashboards for utilization, cost of care, quality, and risk use cases
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Customer Insights, Growth, or Implementation teams
• Exposure to Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration and project-tracking tools
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to accelerate analytics, dashboard development, or documentation
• Comfort presenting analytics and insights into internal leadership and external clients
