Looks like there is a minor update available in the App Store, version 1.1.6: fixes crash due to concurrent callsign look-ups.

 

Hey Wes, how did your daughter’s robotics team do?

 

That’s one of those things I wish existed when I was in middle and high school in the late 80’s//early 90’s.

Yes, I just released 1.1.6 this morning; I had a user send a bug report where scrolling the participants could cause it to crash.

The robotics team did amazing this season. They made it all the way to the World Championship in Houston and ended up walking away with a silver medal on the Archimedes field.

We're now in the off season, so, theoretically, my workload would normally relax a bit, but I'm working on a project to launch a YouTube channel with my daughter with some educational robotics-related content on it. 

That is chugging along at a decent rate, so I'm hoping I'll have some available time in late summer to work on the number one feature that I think everyone wants, which is "pseudo-node" authentication. With some admins disabling allstar-public auth due to its perceived security issues, I'm getting a lot more "why am I getting 'No Authority Found' errors" questions.

Hi,

What about the synchronization of favorites between devices? Is that still on the radar? I just upgraded my phone from a 13 Pro max to a 15 Pro and everything migrated over OK from RepeaterPhone. I’m just trying to think ahead to the future, especially since I plan to install the new betas when they come out on Monday.

While it's not off the table completely, synchronizing favorites has too much complexity for the small number of people who want it.
