Discussing City Fleet Services Center Renovation

Hey folks, just got off the horn with Stefanie Levine, planner at the city, regarding the Fleet Service Center Master Plan proposal.  Fleet Services does the heavy lifting when it comes to garbage, snow removal etc.  Their unassuming campus just south of the Civic Center has not one but two fuel pumps providing service to heavy duty trucks and other city equipment, as well as the occasional Northwestern U vehicle.  As you may note in the slide deck the facility requires significant repair.  While this can be seen as an opportunity to more rapidly electrify services, this isn't simply a question of swapping out Ford F-150s for EVs.  As Stefanie noted in our conversation, the electrification of services may well require doubling the electrical service, and in the one building most desperately in need of repairs.  

     If I'm not mistaken we will meet again next Tuesday, yes?  Please include this to the agenda.
