Thank you for the shout-out T.

Methinks critical mass will eventually win... hopefully the planet will still have a chance at something that resembles normal life (as we have known it.)

I wish we had a program to educate vendors and homeowners about the coming electric home wave and to get some of that Participatory Budget money to convey the future to the community-at-large. Hopefully grant monies might possibly be available someday in the future.

Susan and I are wishing you and all herewith, a Happy/Merry Holiday season with peace love and understanding in the world we share.

Thanks, Brian.

There's a discernible pattern emerging, I think: cities (Chicago, New York) and counties (Marin) in blue states are the first adopters. The red states will get there eventually, but they’ll resist for the better part of a generation, would be my guess. If I’m right, circa 2040 even places like Houston and Baton Rouge will adopt climate-friendly policies.

Thanks Guys!

My younger daughter brought home COVID from U of I to our house for the holiday time. Ho Ho Ho, oh no. Finally past the worst and on the mend.

FYI: The "One Stop Shop" collaboration between City of Evanston, CNT, and Elevate is funded by ARPA independently of the participatory budgeting ARPA money. It will provide outreach to the lower income community for 50 homes in the pilot project.

Participatory budgeting ideas are those that come from the community participants. May be an idea is to continue the program beyond the pilot project.  Want an idea in the mix? Go to a session and add your idea. Or submit them online here: https://www.cityofevanston.org/government/participatory-budgeting-evanston#:~:text=The%20Evanston%20City%20Council%20has,part%20of%20the%20City%20budget.
The community votes on them next summer.

Vendor education is a place where we can help the community. It will take a bit of initiative on our part. Good discussion material for an upcoming meeting conversation....

Wishing you all a warm, safe, and happy holiday time!

Joel
