Hello,

I was just curious to ask if I should be aware of anything when running redundans with a non-diploid organism. Have you done any testing with polyploidy organisms? I am not sure if it allows greater than two 'redundant' contigs or if will only compare the two most similar.

Thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe, Redundans doesn't assume any ploidy. It will reduce all heterozygous regions at given --identity and --overlap criteria, so in principle you should recover contigs from haploid genome.
Let me know how it worked!
