ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Participates in project initiation review and planning sessions for new projects
· Develops project scope statements in collaboration with Product and engineering teams
· Facilitates business and technical requirements elicitation sessions with Product and engineering teams
· Responsible for the management and traceability of business and technical requirements
· Evaluate the impact of proposed changes and articulate any business impacts
· Baseline requirements and ensure that robust change control processes are employed thereafter
· Engage with technical resources to ensure requirements are accurately translated into solutions
· Creates process flows, sequence diagrams, high level technical landscape diagrams as needed to facilitate better understanding of requirements and project scope
· Works with Product Owner and cross-functional engineering team to continually ensure project is driving to scope and objectives
· Coordinates with Product Owner and engineering teams to prioritize user stories to meet program goals and timelines
· Establishes ongoing, effective two-way communication between the team and business stakeholders to ensure the team is meeting the customers’ needs

- Understanding of WiFi standards - 802.11, 802.11ac
- Exposure to and understanding of Next Generation WiFi - WiFi6
- Worked with and understanding of Access Points and WLAN
- Understanding of Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Home, and Home Automation products
- Telecommunications industry understanding and knowledge.
- Skilled at quickly adopting new technologies, tools and best practices
- Proven testing experience with good understanding of Software Test Lifecycle including Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Cases Design, Test Data Setup, Defect Management, Test log, Test results, Test Traceability Matrix
- 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in System, Functional, Integration, and Regression Testing
- Strong ability to manage and report Test Status via QA metrics.
- Tangible experience with detailed test planning and test execution scheduling.
- Strong Leadership, presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet delivery deadlines.
- Experience leading peer reviews of test plan/test cases/test data requirements created by testers and follow-up to close the review comments

JOB DESCRIPTION:
QA Manager Portals: Proficient and energetic manager experience in managing testing for OSS/BSS Systems with large-scale distributed multi-tier client/server systems. Overseeing multi-faceted initiatives, completing complex projects in time-sensitive settings. Consistently meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations. Highly experienced in working in a fast paced environment, simultaneously managing vendors, offshore team members and client needs. Quick learning and adaptation are the forte.
Strong project management skills including coordination with Business/Dev/Design Teams. Coordinated Testing – UI Testing / Functional or Progression Testing / Regression Testing /Web Service Testing using SOAP UI / Integration Testing / End to End testing / DB Testing / UAT Testing
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage System Integration Testing project scope, schedule, cost and delivery.
- Manage test case creation, test cases execution and assign to testers on the team to complete testing in the allocated time to provide adequate testing coverage.
- Manage the creation, publishing, and monitoring test reports under system integration testing.
- Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and overall heath.
- Ensure quality standards, procedures, methodologies and best practices are being observed.
- Manage the team’s efforts to choose, implement and document testing tools, strategies, plans, processes, standards, and framework.
- Weekly Testing Status Reports, Test Plan, Test Cases.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
- Telecom experience
- 6+ years software QA experience
- 3+ years of experience in leading QA Teams
- Hands-on experience in multiple programming languages: Java, VBScript, Python (desirable)
- Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies, such as web browsers, Java, AJAX, HTTP, HTML/XML, AngularJS, JavaScript, CSS, XSL/XSLT, XPATH etc.
