RomWBW Release v3.6.0, RC2014 and Zork1

Hello RC2014 Group, 

I am learning why I was a hardware engineer and not a computer / software engineer. Now I am retired and have time to learn new things.

I love playing around with my RC2014 Zed Pro and learning about the CP/M operating system. 

Is the game Zork1 loaded in one of the directories of the new RomWBW Release v3.6.0? If not can someone give me a hit to add Zork or point me in the right direction? I tried Download.com but didn't have any luck, am sure I'm doing something wrong. 

Any hints would be appreciated.

Hi,  

This should be in the games image in the Binary directory. I have the CF card setup and concatenated it to an image I made that has the OSes and the games. I then wrote that to a CF card that I swapped out. 

I'm not at my computer right now, otherwise I'd give you exact filenames. Since I had large enough card, it was a matter of doing something like 'cp hd1k_combo.img hd1k_custom.img ; cat hd1k_games.img >> hd1k_custom.img ; sudo dd if=hd1k_custom.img of=/dev/sdX' , where the X is the device name for my CF reader on my Linux machine. 

3.6.0 had the option to hit "s" at the the help prompt to list your slices, so you may already be set. 

Hopefully this gets you in the right direction at least. You might want to look at the Docs directory in the RomWBW package, which breaks down what is on the included image files.
