submit.com in RomWBW

I am experiencing an odd issue after upgrading to RomWBW 3.6.0:  submit.com no longer works.  I've tried it from the CP/M 2.2 slice, the ROM, from ZSDOS, etc.    It silently executes with no effect and no errors.  Using supersub on the same local *.sub file works fine.

I am using the standard RCBus (RCZ80_std) version of v3.6.0.   I flashed the provided .rom file and did not compile.   Everything else seems to work fine.

Has anyone else noticed this issue?

SUBMIT is pretty picky about the file format of the file being SUBMITed.  Make sure your line endings are CR+LF.  Make sure there is a ctrl-z at the end of the file.  Make sure the file has a CR+LF before the ctrl-z.

I just checked and SUBMIT is working for me on v3.6.  I have seen the same anomalous behavior you are reporting with input files that are not perfectly formatted.

Thank you for the quick reply, Wayne.   I tried the simplest file I could, which contains only the DIR command.  I get the same result; see attached.

Well, your .SUB file looks fine.  Very odd.   I will recreate your setup as closely as possible including burning the exact v3.6 distribution ROM later today.
