Have any of you gotten a Nabu PC?Ā  I'm seriously considering getting one and adapting
its four internal bus slots to work with RC2014 cards in some capacity. Ā

The four slots are each quarantined to be port-access only, each with their own range of ports they can respond to.Ā  It's also got 64k of ram, 8k rom (swap-outable), TMS9918A video with its own 16k...Ā

Regardless, it seems like a nice, cheap piece of kit, and it's SUPER well documented, so I've been considering porting CP/M Bios to it, using the RC2014 CF card interface, remapped to different, Nabu-compatible IO locations.

There will probably be more batches according to people who talked
with the guy liquidating them. It's just that people ordered vast
numbers of them and they can't keep up. Some were also sold in bulk so
presumably will pop up in various places for further resale.

There's already a CP/M for it at https://github.com/randomvariations/nabu.cpm

Disassembled the 8k bios also made a sd-card adapter for it.

I’ve got one as well. I’ve been working on a MAME driver for it.

That will be handy. I've been knocking up a quick emulator and I've
got most stuff working - just trying to sort out the floppy
controller.
