Can anyone recommend sunglasses brand that is good for progressive prescription lens with optimal coverage?

My wife and I have been wearing Rudy Project Rydon glasses for years now, she with progressives (and happy with them).

Just go to the company site to find local opticians that work with RP for doing progressives. Wide range of lens color choices and types, photochromic and polarized, for example.

Dave, who is fascinated by product models such as the Rydon or the Ikea Poang chair which stay in their company line for decades and what that says about excellent design

James, I have been using Oakley Flak glasses for maybe 15 years.  I get them with progressive lenses and whatchamacallit changeable tint.  I'm on pair #3.  They are tough.  I like them very much, and I forget I have them on, which is about the highest compliment I can offer.

One substantial irritation - after 10-12 years the frame changed slightly and Oakly would no longer replace my lenses, so I have two pairs of %$%$@ unusable frames.  But I still like my current pair.

I agree with previous posters on the Rudy Project Rydon and Oakley Flak frames. I own both and both are great on the bike. For on the bike I think I prefer the Rydon’s since they seem to have a bit more coverage.

I put prescription lenses in my Rydon’s but have non prescription Prizm Trail Torch lenses in my Flak frames. I started wearing contacts so don’t need prescription lenses in all of my sunglasses anymore.

I had some Wiley WX frames made with progressive, photochromic lenses, and I was very unhappy with the distortion, especially in depth perception. I have had lots of other progressive lenses, so I'm used to the off-center blurring. These were much different.

My distance correction is mild, so "readers" are okay for me. I had been using Tifosi sunglasses for quite a while and liked them, so I was pleased to find they had some models with reader lenses as an option. The Veloce frame is what I use. They've been great for riding for me.
