One of the YouTube channels that I follow (subscribe to) is one called Henrywildeberry.  He's a YouTuber in Northern California that does a tone of bikey video, along with some melodramatic acting.  Thankfully, not too much of the later.  The latest video he posted is about his girlfriend (best I can tell from watch most all his videos) getting a custom frame and then stopping by Rivendell Bicycle Works to pick up a pair of Silver shifters.  I would encourage any of you who seeing some cycling through a beautiful part of the country to check out the content on Henry's YouTube channel.

I meant to add that the visit to RBW is at about the 11 minute mark, though I hope you'll watch the whole video.

Thanks for posting that. I had seen a couple of his videos a while back, but forgot about him. He's becoming quite the cinematographer! I cringed a little when he installed that Chris King headset with a home made press, though!

The cringe worthy moment for me was when he inserted the seat post into the frame (or should I say inserted the frame onto the seat post) with the seat post mounted in the repair stand. But the end of the video was worth the price of admission.  Beautiful scenery.

This made me so happy. It was great to see all the local sights (Fitz HQ, Riv HQ, Bicycle Czar, Willow Creek, etc), and all the great parts (XTR derailleur, Minimotos, TA, Silver shifters, etc). I like to see people wrench on bikes who aren’t me, too.

I need another pink bike.

Thanks for posting.  I couldn’t help but notice how much standover she has on her new bike.  Love the color and the build.

You may not think it by looking at her, but she's one tough cyclist.  Has done several brevets over 200k.  In one video Henry asks her where she draws the line between regular shorts and padded cycling shorts and she says about 100 miles.  I can handle about 10 miles before I reach for the padded shorts.  I bet her Keds snickers make some think she's not a real cyclist, but boy would they be wrong.  She has/had two VO Polyvalents prior to going the custom route with Fitz Cycles.

It's easy to see just by watching her ride in the video that she's a very accomplished rider, not only by her riding style, but by the way she likes to have her bikes set up.  Not that this remark is meant to take anything away from those who prefer bikes with the various longer wheel-base, step-through frames nowadays, but a road bike is a road bike and this lady knows how to get the most out of it.
